A traditional pumpkin pie is a must for the spooky festival of Halloween. So here is a step-by-step recipe from the foodnetwork for you to ace your pumpkin pie this year.
Ingredients For The Recipe:

- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 10 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter, cut into little cubes

For the filling
- 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 15-ounce can pumpkin puree
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
Method Of Preparation
To make the crust, combine the flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a food processor to blend. Add one-third of the butter and blend until the mixture reaches the consistency of cornmeal. Then add the rest of the butter and blend it again until it looks like pea-sized pieces.
Now add the bourbon, vanilla seeds, and 2 to 3 tablespoons of chilled water. Beat the mixture till it comes together as a dough.
Take the mixture and spread it onto a plastic wrap, shape it into a disk and then wrap. Place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour so that it gets firm.
Put a baking sheet on the center rack of the oven and preheat it to 425 degrees F for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, take the dough and roll it out into a 12-inch round on a surface dusted with a little flour.
